With more than 20 years’ experience in the Ticketing Industry in Australia and UK, Jo has gathered a wealth of knowledge of Ticketing, CRM, Subscriptions, Fundraising, E-Marketing and CMS as they apply to venues, festivals, agencies and theatre companies. Jo has had the pleasure of working with many prestigious organisations during her career, including Sydney Theatre Company, Edinburgh International Festival & Hub Tickets, Firstcall Australia & UK, Ticketmaster, Ensemble Theatre, Sydney Film Festival, SOCOG – Sydney 2000 Olympic Arts Festival, Australian Opera and The Adelaide Fringe. In addition, Jo has experience of the Software side of the industry having been a Sales Manager with AudienceView and Business Development Manager with Enta Australasia. With these roles, Jo was responsible for Client Liaison, Business Development, System Planning and Change Management. I worked with Jo during and following the implementation of enta (enterprise ticket sales and CRM/marketing software) at the Sydney Theatre Company. They took a risk with enta at a time when there were competitive products available. Jo and her team were focussed on delivering service to their Patrons, the board and the other stakeholders of the Sydney Theatre Company and worked with a positive attitude to go live and achieve real success. Jo was very good at identifying key issues and working with us to find solutions, and was ever resourceful when finding solutions where we couldn’t assist. In my view, Jo developed the service of the Sydney Theatre company to become a benchmark for other performing arts organisations. It was a pleasure working with Jo and whilst challenging, the experience of working with the Sydney Theatre Company was an extremely rewarding one.
